I'm sure most of you readers have heard and maybe some of you have even purchased the discounted vouchers selling like hot cakes through online. Name like Groupon, MilkaDeal, Superdeals and many more are not offering lower from retail / market price for their choice of product. Kinda of interesting actually but make sure before you make the purchase check out the original rate direct from the seller site as sumtimes the price different is not that great and why must we purchased in a limited time frame just becoz its offer a little bit low while we are not in hurry of buying it. Temptation can be a great lost.

Anyway, this offer that I viewed this morning is quite interesting especially in the month of Ramadhan where Ramadhan Buffet in KL can be very pricey.( Rm 85 ? Rm 120? )
So this eye cathing deal that makes me "duduk tak senang" is at http://www.groupsmore.com/cities/kuala-lumpur/deals/songket-restaurant , so I checked their site and called them at 10 am this morning and finally make a purchase of 6 vouchers. Coz the deal is really berbaloi2..hehe. RM 45 (nett, inclusive tax and service charges) instead of RM 75.40. A total saving of RM 30.40 or 40%. Yeay!

So readers, sapa cepat dia dapat ....catch the deal now, coz as I was writing this time left is about 9hrs 36 mins and 30 second left till the deal is close. Hurry! The clock is ticking!

The recent pool job

Breakfast at LEVAIN BOULANGERIE

Last January, Mya&Dyana decided to have quick 'BRUNCH'
It was plannned last minute but luckily we both decided to spent some quality time before Dyana undergoing 2 months confinement times (yes.. this means no talking to each other evryday)

We decided to do it at LEVAIN BOULANGERIE & PATISSERIE.
It was just 1o minutes away from mya's lil crib. Sorry Dyana u have to leave early to reach here.
We had great time. So does O!
Food were delicious! Love it!

Have to wait another 3 months may be before Dyana will be back on track! Sigh!

That Flower Shop in LOVE HAPPENS

I spend my lazy sunday at home. The fact that i was unwell, i love my every Sunday moment.

I managed to watch "LOVE HAPPENS" via HBO.

It was really a beautiful movie. I adore Jenifer Aniston character. It is so casual and cheeky.

And her lil flower shop simply adorable. (God please let me to have that kind of shop one fine day should i will be given the opportunity).

But mostly, Aaron Ekchart's character on how to really move on.. always give me some courage.

Kind think of it, i always love character or movie on how they overcome their sadnes, anger and fear. (Tentang dia, PS I Love you, Return to Me are amongst) May be i am that person who always uneasy to 'loose' things. This kind of movie always inspired me.

-Behind HONDA showroom- near to Interchange DUKE

Its like u were in midst of forest with all that 'chengkerik' sounds,
But still once in a while, honking sounds of lorries will alert you!

They tried a good job in creating that romantic mood but
Personally i think it is lack of maintenance

The staff are friendly & ambiance are rather cool!
Best part, the food is affordable (Thai cuisine) and taste really good too!

Pisau Cukur The Movie

Looking for something different in a Malay movie? Then you should try watching this movie. It’s like watching a movie from an English adaptation book.

Set in a non typical film screen, the movie shooting was around a so called cruise. So expect to see a lot of shot from the cabin view, swimming pool, bar, dance hall and etc.

For me, I enjoy watching it especially when it’s Sunday and you need to hang loose all those tight laugh muscle. Yes there are a lot of funny romantic comedy scenes, Orang Tua Gatal scene, Fazura being gedik scenes, Maya Karin stupid statement scene and many more scenes that will certainly make you laugh or maybe smile. In short this movie is entertaining and the plot is moving and not boring : )

Just one thing being lacking, in my personal humble opinion is that too much of western influence seems to show that the Muslim part is being ignored to quite a certain extent, except the part that man can haves 4 wives.

Other than that, it’s a nice movie to catch darling!

A must watch movie to all Michael Jackson fans out there, in fact I would recommend everyone to watch it, after all this the last master piece that we witness from someone we call as legend. Watch the special effect performance that pays close attention to details and continuity of each song. I enjoy every minute of the movie and yes I feel like dancing to the beats. He truly is a very creative music person, he knows what he wants and a perfectionist to all his work. Also he’s a super loving and caring person with lot of love to share to the whole word (set aside all accusation he faced before), we can really see how all his crew and production team enjoy every minute working with him.

He is the King of Pop! No doubt about that.

My Latest Companion

Her name is Liselle, taken from a main character in the current book I'm reading when it so happen me and hubby decided to adopt / bought a cat. Our search take less than 2 hours when we finally saw the her at one of the pet shop located in Up Town, Damansara. I believe she choose us rather than we actually choosing her ; )

Liselle was only 2 months at that time, she's been with us for about 3 months now. I've always been a cat lover since I was young, before Liselle that were many more that has rest in peace for quite sumtimes ( Bip, Molly, Hitam, Kelabu, Kontot, Remon, Jinggo, Dino and sum I can remember),but this first time I'm taking care of a persian breed, so I've been doing sum research about them and here is sumthing that I wish to share with you readers

Persian cats are noted for their gentle temperament and ease with which they adjust to new environments, making them ideal show cats - not exactly planning to make her a show cat but I wanna make her grow really big and fluffy !

They are quiet and, although not shy, tend to be undemonstrative - I dun see this trait in Liselle yet as she is so energetic and very -very playful.

They are quite loving and affectionate and make wonderful companions - I call her the "jaga" when we are not around, and "penyambut tetamu" each time she welcome us home with her adorable movement.

Persian come's in a variety of colors or markings - Her colour is considered beige chinchilla

Longevity is usually between 10 and 15 years on average - I certainly hope so, dats y we have been given her with good food and supplement : )

The Persian cat is the most popular breed in the UK - well I think in our country too.

Liselle has captured my heart the moment she meowed at me with her big mischievous eyes , I’m sure we gonna have a lot of fun in many years to come : ), while blogging this she's sleeping so peacefully...wonder what is she dreaming?

Ive watched this movie back 2 years ago via online.
For no specific reason, i choose this movie.
And falling in love with it.
Yes it may be typical of Indonesian teen movies
But i really love the cinemography, the whole background, shot and most-the SONGS!
From my reading, it was adapted by a novel.
The main lead - Sissy Prescilla plays it quite well i must said. (Like bersahaja ajer!)
A movie about her dream guy. Obses of her life finally comes reality during her wedding planning journey with another guy! The point is not who is with who...
But,
1. We must face reality & not running away from it
2. You must get a real closure if you really want to move on
3. It is ok to dream ... cause may be.. (BELIEVED ME, IT WILL) it will come true

Music is my Life. If u really know me, i am so into music! I listen to most genre. If nothing good on tv, i would rather listen to my music. If to do my housework, i only need those faster beat songs. So, with that i MUST have a good MP3 player. The Mini Ipod 1st generation i had (in pink) have definitely not in production anymore. The fact as the battery not lond lasting, i really need the new and updates one. So, i decided to get this Ipod Touch. I work amazingly. Can u say no to Durian? Not me!! I'm the biggest fan of anything about Durian...the smell, the yummy creamy texture and of coz the taste...just o lala!

A'way, thot of sharing the great taste of Durian Flo from New Zealand Natural Ice-Cream...each time I passed their place...this Durian thingy feeling kinda of taking control over almost all other senses and nope I can never say no...

To those Durian taste lover...I strongly recommend this, price at RM 16.90 ( I think so..coz each time hubby is paying..hehe) or you can add up another additional RM 2.00 ( for extra durian paste) you are on your way to heaven taste!!

My New Gadget

Yes,i got my new gadget too! (Although i still have another 2 weeks for my birthday). The Motorola Krazr suddenly coudnt being charged anymore. (Macam tahu-tahu aje). Anyway, Dyana&Me had a lil chat before she got her very own OMNIA.(I fall inlove to this too but coudnt afford it!). Both of us decided to asked on new handphones from our hubbies.(Syoknyer). So here it is... My E66(in White)

I was looking for a handphone that aint gonna cost me a bomb. A simple ones will do as i already have my very own ipod,sony cybershots and PSP to listen, snap&store pictures and PSP to play game (All in white to except Ipod). So i told my Arjuna, a simple but stylish will do.

I aimed for LG Cookies (RM899). It really have that sleek design im looking for. Then there is Nokia Music (RM1600). Its a first touch screen Nokia (wifi &3g). Its really cool but i am not a huge fan of big&bulky handphone. Then apek handsome ni really poison me to get with 3g&wifi and touch screen. Apparently everyone prefer this and its on trend. Well apek handsome, im not everyone. My fat but short fingers aka stumpy aint suitable for touch screen. (knowing im very clumsy, those lil pointer sure hilang!).

So finally opf for this NOKIA E66.(RM1600). It had the same features with Iphone but LESS COOL! And way cheaper then IPhone. So far after 1 week of using it, i really love my new gadget. Although havent been exploring the whole functions,but i really love it! I called it-My Magic Gadget as it can do wonders in that small size.

Touched by Romance Movie: Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas

I'm touched by this Romance Movie. An old movie (2005) being played on Astro Channel (#413) recently managed to touch my already broken heart. Haven’t been crying for past few weeks (for those whom already knew the reason-sorry can’t explain further as its too hurting), but this beautiful romantic movie played by Christina Applegate and Jonathan Schaech which based on James Patterson’s best-selling novel will simply touches any woman’s heart!

I would summarize it as a total mix of feeling about believing ourselves, believing our dreams and for most-believing people we loved! Yes, it’s another tragic story of a women with heart problem with high potential of risk if to have a family! But she believes she could and she made it! (Totally impress with the power of these kind of women. How I wished I’m that strong)
But it is more than just her (Suzanne’s tragic death ; heart attack after 4 months delivered to very cute baby boy-Nicholas), it is also about people she left. On how they went through 2nd chance of life & love)

My Omnia

When my husband asks me to pick a present for my birthday…I have only 1 thing in mind…A mobiles phone that can do me a lot of wonders. Of coz, my first choice at that time was an Apple iPhone 3G, why becoz I simply love the design, functionality and recommendation from few friends who has been a loyal user of iPhone. But never did I close my option and the journey of finding the rite one for me begins…

From Cookies of LG, HTC, Nokia Communicator, etc and etc…my head start to complicate from to much info..hehe…before you read further, kindly be reminded that this writing is not a profesional review.

So the more that I read the reviews, asking around all mobiles user and etc, my choice switch to HTC Touch Diamond, and I must say that HTC is very much competitive to iPhone… and when finally I talk to my mentor in gadget technology aka my Dad…I’ve come across to an even better competition to iPhone i.e Samsung i900 Omnia.

After a long debate (actually not that long lar…just a few hours and shops :p)

Finally I’ve made a decision to pick OMNIA as the ONE.

Personally why I pick OMNIA = Competitive price as compared to HTC and iPhone + 5 MP Camera + Window OS + Lighter compared to iPhone + 18 months warranty period + and it comes in white : )

Seriously I dun think I need to write all the reasons here… have a look at it, and you will fall in love with it…

We both faces its with great challenge BUT in FULL Bloom of Love

We knew we are not perfect BUT we knew we want the best

We are happy as many progress in 2008 that makes us glad and blissful

Especially when someone has to die!
But watching P.S I love You Movie is very much interesting

As it is not typical movie of

How a couple in search of love and in the end, died and leave the love one in sorrow

It’s a movie how to face and coupe with life

Especially when we lose someone we really love....

I cried the whole time

Seing how much Holly (Hillary Swank) really loves the late husband,Gerry (Gerard Butler)

Really touches my heart

If you are someone who can’t cope with – “losing someone”

Or getting through grief moment and rediscovering yourself

Then this is definitely the movie that you must watch

An adaptation from Best Selling Novel by Cecelia Ahern

And beautiful Original Sound Track

My Classic Search

It’s mine! It’s mine…finally I found it. I’ve been searching all over the place for the classics look kerongsang or dokoh. Ramadhan this year, I’ve actually set an eye for one, which is selling at one of the stalls in the Curve, Ramadhan Bazzar, but its way too expensive for me. So I had to close the desire to own it till recently I start my hunt again as I’ll be wearing a soft baby blue lace trim kebaya lining with gold colour satin. It’s sweet but I need more that just a sweet look, I want it to look sweet yet with a bold character into it and this is were the dokoh or kerongsang will play its part.

Lost in Reading

I’ve lost myself to reading for the passed few weeks…
Reading as it is one of my way to escape the reality that I’m facing…
At least while I’m reading, time move fast…everything else just does not matter…I can keep awake all the time and read for the desire to finish and satisfaction of completion…
So here are 2 recent books that I’ve read and thought of sharing with you guys my comments and review...Nothing professional just the satisfaction of doing so…

Title : A Thousand Splendid Suns
Writer : Khaled Hosseini.
Genre : Novel

Once I start reading this book, it’s kinda of really difficult to let it down…story plot is truly moving between the two character of Mariam & Laila. The first part of the book touch me by the story of Mariam a harami that was raised in the outcast of society , the way she was brought up and till the day she was married to a man of 30 years different in age. Her short happiness in the marriage life and her suffer throughout the marriage. The second part of coz is Laila, who was born in the middle of struggle between the Mujahedeen and Soviets in Afghan. Her story is much normal like a middle class girl and she struggle to fight for the mother love. Her sorrow and pain start when her parents died in a bomb crash and how the situations force her to marry the same man who married Mariam…
Strange feeling between them slowly change into mother daughter love and care…the rest of the story portray how suffer the women in Afghan fighting for their rights over man…which at some point makes me wonder…how wrongly sum people can interpret the Islamic way of teaching…have they forget that education is the most important assets in one person, that our prophet protect and honor the women pride and many more concern that raised your thought while reading…
As for my humble conclusion, I would definilely read more of Khaled Hosseini writing…another famous one is The Kite Runner…a novel that was released before A Thousand Splendid Suns and was sold more than 4 million copies…can’t wait for my next reading : )

Genre : Psychology

This the kind of book that take months for me to read…huhu..not that it’s not interesting, but it’s kindda of heavy genre for me...there’s no rush to get to know what will happen next..so there is not so much of a gripping element to it. Yet I would suggest everyone to read this book as it will make you think and looks a thing or people or life or even a situation differently. How we should trust our first instinct, how we should never judge people by their looks or physical appearance, how we should stick with as little info to avoid jumbling up with non-important factors and many more perspective in life that we have ignore or getting to much accustomed to it that sumtimes we need to change to have a better understanding about us and people around us.

More or less, I’m happy that I could finish it...hey not that I’m a psychologist or sumthing ..hehhe

Hiatus

Actually, ive been away due to 2 operations i had in 1 month (long story!)
While dyana been busy with work n stuff n cleaning ... hehhe (jangan marah!)
Since it have been an abondoned project (yes another of our crazy ideas)
